With the surge of digital innovation and online shifts across the globe, there has never been a more critical time to ensure a secure cyberspace for our government entities, infrastructure, business sectors, business start-ups, students and teachers – and all of us, even as internet users.

In support of this ambition to make Dubai the safest city in cyberspace, DESC continually creates and implements new and innovative solutions to raise the security standards of our electronic infrastructure.

The official launch of the Dubai Cyber Index by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, in July 2020, reflects the long-term vision and commitment of our leadership to ensure government preparedness for whatever challenges the future may hold.

The Dubai Cyber Index will help stimulate and promote healthy competition amongst government entities, thus driving continuous progress and security. Moreover, it will advance Dubai's position as a hub in which cybersecurity risks are addressed, thereby supporting economic growth and enabling technological capabilities to move safely forward.
